What it Takes to Become a Partner
Dedicated Resources
As a regulated financial institution, you need to assign a dedicated team of professionals in the partnership to service the following areas:
Sales and Marketing
To actively campaign to attract increasing number of qualified leads and actively convert these leads into clients. Optimising these functions is critical to the success for your business and Saxo Bank can offer the benefit of our long experience and advice and assistance in this area.
Customer Service
To service clients requests and maintain client satisfaction. This will help you retain existing clients as well as attract new ones through word-of-mouth.
Back Office
Although Saxo Bank automates most Back Office functions, you still need to assign experienced account managers to take care of fund transfers and the general accounting to your clients
We have also found in our experience that senior management leadership is critical to business success.
Saxo Bank has long experience and tried and tested advice to help you along the way in these areas and may also be able to offer help with web site work to help establish your presence.
Our business commitment is simply to help our partners take advantage of the increasing demand. The set of instruments, risk management tools, account management and sales overview (e.g. the client station, the sales station and the desk commander), all contribute to a brisk and thorough installation and business launch.
No "Hard" Costs
There are no fixed or hard costs associated with entering into a standard White Label Partnership with Saxo Bank; the platform is free and there is no trading platform license cost or fee.
If you seek an “enterprise” partner agreement, specific charges are levied depending on the level of customisation and IT resources required where we only to cover some of our own additional costs.
Also over the long-term, there are no licensing or operating costs associated with the platform and the business model is simple: Saxo Bank delivers product to you the WLP who then distributes them, at a premium to your marketplace.
Specific commercial terms will be discussed during the planning phase (Phase I).
Note: For WLP prospects who have extensive needs and requirements, we are able to customize (at additional expenses), an Enterprise WLP version.
Volume Commitments
When entering into a partnership, Saxo Bank expends considerable effort and resources setting up products and the trading platform. In return, we expect a committed business volume from White Label Partners. When our partner brings on clients to the platform and those clients generate trading volume, both Saxo Bank and the partner benefit!
Specific sales and marketing plans need to be defined and ready for implementation. Without this commitment, the initiative cannot be realised.
